The river Spree runs between parliament and the government buildings.
On the left is Jakob-Kaiser-Haus and next to it is the Reichstag building (German Bundestag) with the glass dome.
In the background: the Bundeskanzleramt (Federal Chancellary) and on the right is the Paul-Löbe-Haus.

Did you recognize the Reichstag dome and the Quadriga in the logo?

Both are famous landmarks of Berlin. The former represents radical modernity, the latter embraces the ennobling spirit of ancient Greece. They are on top of the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate, which were divided by the wall until 1989. For years they symbolized the partition of Germany and Europe.             photo: 2002
